Web3D 2026 Conference Transitioning to Hybrid Format
Primary tabs

After careful consideration of current world affairs and the potential travel challenges that many of our attendees and paper authors may face, we have made the decision to transition from an in-person only conference to a hybrid format. This change will allow us to maintain the valuable in-person networking and collaboration opportunities while ensuring that everyone can participate regardless of their ability to travel.
What This Means:
- The conference will proceed with both in-person and virtual attendance options
- All sessions, presentations, and keynotes will be accessible both on-site in Qatar and online
- Paper authors may present either in person or remotely
- Networking opportunities will be available through both physical and virtual platforms
- Registration options will be updated to reflect in-person and virtual attendance tiers
- Detailed information about the hybrid format, including technical specifications and participation guidelines, will be shared in the coming weeks
Please keep preparing your submissions! The Web3D 2026 Call for Papers deadline is June 1.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we adapt to these circumstances. Our commitment remains unchanged: to deliver an exceptional conference experience that advances the Web3D field and fosters meaningful connections within our community. We are so proud everyone is continuing our 31 years of immense progress in the Web3D Conferences.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at program2026@web3d.org.
We believe this hybrid approach will enhance accessibility, broaden participation, and ensure that the Web3D community can come together safely and effectively, regardless of geographical or travel constraints.
We look forward to your participation in Web3D 2026.
