Coordinated development of the Web3D Consortium's X3D Graphics ISO certified International Standard is solely supported by individual, academic, and corporate membership fees as well as donations.

3D technology is transforming how we interact with digital content, enhancing user experiences across various industries, from education to e-commerce. However, to fully realize the potential of 3D on the web, we need robust standards that ensure accessibility, interoperability, and innovation.

Web3D specifications are fully open, royalty free for any use, and aligned with other open Web standards.  Both commercial and open-source tools are welcome to use the X3D and HAnim standards.
