The Consortium's Spring 2020 Newsletter is available. It contains stories and reports from activities and events. The Web3D Consortium regularly publishes a newsletter covering major Consortium events and news.
The Sprint 2020 Newsletter has been published and distributed.
Highligts inculude: Creativity and Innovation of our community during the COVID-19 crisis , New virtual outreach activities, Recently started Web3D User Experience Working Group, Development and draft release of X3D Version 4.0 which includes:
  •  glTF Inlines, including Physically-Based Rendering (PBR) 
  • ProjectiveTexture Mapping (PTM)
  • Volume Rendering extensions
  • PointProperties for point cloud rendering
