Web3D 2026 – Call for Papers Now Open!

The Web3D 2026 Conference invites submissions on cutting-edge 3D web technologies. This year’s theme, “Interoperable Futures: 3D for a Connected World,” invites researchers, developers, artists, and industry leaders to explore the frontiers of interactive 3D technologies on the web. Taking place in the vibrant city of Doha, Qatar, from 13-15 October 2026. Sponsored by ACM SIGGRAPH in Cooperation with  Web3D Consortium and hosted by Hamad Bin Khalifa University.

Submission Deadline: June 1, 2026
Notification of Acceptance: July 15, 2026

We welcome original contributions in the following areas (and beyond):
  • Web-based 3D graphics and visualization (X3D, glTF, WebGL, WebGPU)
  • Cultural heritage digitization and immersive storytelling
  • AI and machine learning for 3D content generation
  • Authoring tools, pipelines, and open standards
  • Interoperability, sustainability, and long-term preservation
  • XR, simulation, and real-time interaction on the web

Accepted papers will be published in the ACM Digital Library and presented onsite in Doha.
