H-Anim WG Meeting (face to face)

With advancements in scanning and capture devices, sophisticated and detailed humanoid models can be obtained. These models are used in many application areas related to humanoid modeling and animation. The orginal H-Anim specification can be used to exchange humanoid model data between various applications in heterogeneous computing environments. We need to add new functionality that defines motion in the H-Anim specification, in order to exchange humanoid animation using scanned or captured data. We have been discussing the concept and method of defining motion at our H-Anim WG teleconferences. At our face to face meeting, we will determine and finalize the topics, scope, and concept of H-Anim motion definition. In addition, we will schedule the procedure of progressing the new work item proposal to be submitted to the ISO.
