Class ComposedTexture3D

java.lang.Object
org.web3d.x3d.jsail.X3DConcreteElement
org.web3d.x3d.jsail.X3DConcreteNode
org.web3d.x3d.jsail.Texturing3D.ComposedTexture3D
All Implemented Interfaces:
X3DNode, X3DAppearanceChildNode, X3DTextureNode, ComposedTexture3D, X3DTexture3DNode

public class ComposedTexture3D extends X3DConcreteNode implements ComposedTexture3D
ComposedTexture3D defines a 3D image-based texture map as a collection of 2D texture sources at various depths.

Warning: this is an abstract interface that cannot be instantiated as a concrete object. Java programmers typically only need to use concrete objects provided by the org.web3d.x3d.jsail classes. ComposedTexture3D node tooltip: (X3D version 3.1 or later) [X3DTexture3DNode] ComposedTexture3D defines a 3D image-based texture map as a collection of 2D texture sources at various depths.
  • Hint: insert 2^n ImageTexture, PixelTexture or MovieTexture child nodes. The first image is at depth 0 and each following image is at an increasing depth value in the R direction.
  • Hint: can contain a single TextureProperties node.
  • Hint: insert Shape and Appearance nodes before adding texture.
  • Hint: X3D Architecture 33.2.2 3D texturing concepts https://www.web3d.org/specifications/X3Dv4/ISO-IEC19775-1v4-IS /Part01/components/texture3D.html#3DTextureconcepts
  • Warning: requires X3D profile='Full' or else include <component name='Texturing3D' level='1'/>

Package hint: This org.web3d.x3d.jsail concrete class is used for implementing a standalone X3D object as a Plain Old Java Object (POJO). If you are writing Java code for use inside an X3D Script node, compile separate code using only the org.web3d.x3d.sai package instead.
