Color your Own

You can prepare your own version with your national or football team colors by editing any of the X3D models above with X3D-Edit or a text editor and changing the Appearance nodes with the following values for the DEF field:

  • partcolor -- for the underlying body of the stamp
  • X.appearance -- for the letter X
  • D.appearance -- for the letter D
  • three.appearance -- for the digit 3

CAD Files

The solid model for the models above was created with the Ashlar-Vellum Argon CAD software.

Stamp_X3D.ar (zipped) -- native Argon format file with the solid model (not colored)

The solid model was exported to STEP AP 203, then converted to X3D with the SPRI2 online STEP-browsing application.

Stamp_X3D.stp (zipped) -- the STEP file (Part 21 encoding, clear-text, encoding)

The CAD application was also used to export the solid model as an STL file suitable for common rapid-prototyping processes. This model has been uploaded to the Shapeways site.

Stamp_X3D.stl (zipped) -- STL file for solid model (no coloring)
