Hello all,
 
Sending this on behalf of James Ryseff who is the Director at the Special Competitive Studies Project. 
 
The Hackathon has a top prize of $10,000 in each of four tracks:
 
  *  Cloud laboratories: Transform scientific discovery by building AI agents that autonomously execute hypotheses, interpret lab data, and iterate experimental protocols

  *  Electric Grid Optimization: Design "Grid-Aware" AI agents to help ensure grid stability and help optimize the operation of the electric grid in the face of growing demand from high-capacity data centers.


  *  Wargaming: Shatter analog constraints with a modular platform that uses AI to provide rapid adjudication, autonomous scenario architecture, and adaptive "Red Cell" adversaries.

  *  GenAI.mil: Weaponize AI against the "administrative trenches" by creating software that automates military paperwork, logistics, and tactical knowledge retrieval for the rank-and-file.


 
Participants will present their prototypes to be judged by experts from a combination of top technology companies, government agencies, and academics.
