Attendees: Don Brutzman, Dick Puk, Myeong Won Lee, Joe Williams, and William Glascoe

Agenda Item: SFRotation (x,y,z) implementation

MWL: Explained her experiments with SFRotation (x,y,z) in her H-Anim browser versus others DB: BVH (C++) code converted to Java before my trip to Korea; He should be able to engage this issue once the code conversion is working.

WG: There should be SFTranslation for each Joint Center because the joint centers move in humans as a function of flexion and extension.

MWL: C# (a compiled language that based on C++ according to MS)

DB: This is an important question. Roy W. is the right person to talk to. He worked on specs and code generation for Java Language binding, JSON encoding, XML encoding, VRML encoding. This means if we can come up with good design patterns we create entire APIs. Don with track and suggest this be an agenda item for the Korean chapter. This is an X3D working group agenda item than H-Anim's agenda.

MWL: It is difficult to send/receive to/from a web browser now.

JW: Mixing up the order of the axes (extreme diligence required to prevent this) is easy to do. DB: It's like matrix math (it as to be exactly right or its completely wrong and it's difficult to get right). DP: In X3D we specify an order and it is not mutable. But MoCap files (BVH encoded) may have different orders of angles for many reasons. DB: Many experience graphics programmers have gone on fishing expeditions to find the corrections of an animation that didn't look right and s/he changed "things" until it worked and dare not touch afterwards.

MWL: Please review the draft and send comments and corrections to MWL. DB: Are you ready to proceed with announcing the competition once the flyer is made look better. Anita is India from another week or two. We should send it out in no later than three without the specific prizes. Target for mid-December at the latest. Then reissue it repeatedly. MWL: Will the Web3D commit to a prize amount? Is it ok to list the sponsors I have? Don told MWL that Anita H. is the person to answer this question.
