Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG)

Hm. I thought that SVG included raster as well. SVG includes

1. raster
2. vector
3. text

These are 2D in SVG with animation for the 3rd dimension.

If I extend raster to several dimensions, I get movies, and multiple viewpoint systems (perhaps X3D would be better done by rendering on the server, and using a video feed from the server (has anyone tried this?).

If I extend vector to several dimensions, I get surfaces, volumes and hypervolumes.

If I extend text to several dimensions, I get hypertext, and animated text.

Say I want to go beyond spherical coordinates into hyperspherical coordinates. What's the easiest way program those?

Thanks,

John
