[x3d-public] javascript / ecmascript developments

Oasis' "Daily XML Newslink" has an infoworld article titled "New 
Direction for 'JavaScript 2'" featured today, available at 
http://www.infoworld.com/article/08/08/26/35NF-javascript-2-direction_1.html 
for online viewing. As ecmascript is a rather integral part of x3d and 
vrml, I am wondering how much x3d development is involved or reflecting 
the coming changes in the script language. The article may be intersting 
for those developing x3d with scripts.
