[x3d-public] Announcing the RawKee X3D Exporter for Maya version 1.0 release!
The Archaeology Technologies Laboratory at North Dakota State University
is announcing the full 1.0 release of its open-source RawKee X3D
Exporter for Maya. The RawKee 1.0 feature list includes support for
HAnim, Multitextures, Script nodes, ECMAScripting, Sensor nodes, and
export of all four Web3D Consortium encodings. RawKee provides the
content author with an event routing user-interface through the X3D
Interaction Editor. Quick animation preparation is also available for
translation, scale, and rotation fields through the X3D Animation
Editor. Finally, complex HAnim character rig setup is made a breeze for
export through the use of RawKee's X3D Character Editor. Additional
experimental features are available as well. These features include the
proposed xj3d rigid body physics and the xj3d IODevice components. The
*.x3db binary export feature is provided by the X3DSerializer class
developed at Yumetech, Inc.
