I've never understood this argument. What if someone captures your
product design from your publicity photographs? Or by taking
photographs of your product themselves? Or by buying one and sticking
it in a 2D or 3D scanner? So what? Why does a Web 3D file have to be
uncopyable, when nothing else in the universe is?
If you have a design patent or they've infringed your copyright, then
you have legal redress. There is no technological measure that's going
to make a whit of difference.This argument is a red herring.
