[x3d-public] Xj3D example applets?

Hi! I have been looking for examples of Xj3D implemented in a web page
Java applet. But, I haven't found any.

Isn't it possible? Must Xj3D be implemented in a Java application?

I know that standalone JoGL is possible to implement in a applet.
Therefore, I thought there should be Xj3D for applets too.

If there is Xj3D applets where is the best place on the WWW to find them
(preferable with sourcecode)?
