Alan,

Here is the terminal output when I launched moving_box.x3dv:

Here is the Browser Console:

file:/usr/local/Xj3D/moving_box.x3dv complete.

The Xj3D Browser is completely black after I opened the file. In the bottom left is a message saying 'file:/usr/local/Xj3D/moving_box.x3dv complete.' and in the bottom right, there is a constantly changing number so it looks like the file has actually loaded, but nothing is being displayed.

Thanks,

hmmm... very odd. I don't have much experience with Solaris... ie it just worked for me on the one box I have...

what graphics card do you have. OS version and hardware?

How much do want to help debug this? What I'd really like to know is if other JOGL applications work for you. This can be best tested by download the sample apps and running them. Are you familar with Java?
