Hello,
regarding the "resolve transforms" topic - there is a small script/plug-in into VRML Pad, doing just that. You just select the transforms, click "collapse" and its done.
Similar functionality for "projecting" transform directly into IndexedFaceSet coordinates.

It is called IFS Tools, if it is not on Parallelgraphics VRML Pad site for free download, you may maybe contact Mr. Bederov from PG, who is on this forum as well?
