[www-vrml] Re: [x3d-public] FreeWRL 1.20.3 VRML/X3D browser released.

XML cannot allow that. The [] that are missing are sometimes needed for the outer quote set.

Willl you allow:

Viewpoint { type "EXAMINE", "ANY" }


No; the "EXAMINE" will be internally changed into ["EXAMINE"], and after that you get the
,"ANY" which is a syntax error.

(so in my "FreeWRL developers speak", the SFString morphs into an MFString; what you have
after that is a comma, then another SFString)



I still think it is distracting to allow ommission of those important markers. 

I'm not going to disagree; but history speaks
