Thanks for the pat on the back. A lot of work has gone into this, and
there'll be a lot more.
1) We are always looking for good programmers to work on some
smaller projects - eg, as you have probably noted, Text formatting is
not
100% yet. If you know anyone interested...
2) I had a lot of fun pushing multi-threading. Unfortunately, I have
had my
first report of it hanging on a Debian Linux system; it looks like
I'll have to
fix this and release another source package.
Currently there are a few threads running in FreeWRL; I'd like to be
able to
really multithread to push multi-processor or multi-core machines.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained...
Big congrats...running it on a PowerPC mac and it's THE FIRST vrml
browser that's been able to display
some old worlds with text in it...almost everything (including
HUDs) work!
Not everything ...but almost ;-)
