RE: [www-vrml] combining textures and materials



perl has additional libraries which can directly modify and
even create from scrath png textures. For example if can
overlay images using existing alpha channels.

Another option is to use the PixelTexture node to store
images internally within the world itself. These can be
directly modified using vrmlscript. Large resolution
versions of these can take awhile to create using just
vrmlscript though. These are ways to speed up the process
though.
