unfortunately the project i am working on would not be solved by going
server client model as it deals with bringing midi in and permutating that
in vrml
Xj3D has some midi nodes in it that exposed midi devices to the X3D
scenegraph. Its not standard X3D yet, but it does work for my Edirol
keyboard.
I can provide you examples if you want to play with it.
