OCTAGA PLAYER Now Available on PDF documents
The Octaga Player Adobe Reader plug-in enables users to visualize and interact with the 3D content embedded within PDF documents. The text in the PDF document can be linked directly to view points on the 3D module, so with one click a user can travel to different parts of the 3D object in the document. With this release, Octaga makes it feasible to share interactive training manuals, products presentations and many other real time 3D features, directly from within Adobe Reader.
As a strong supporter of the ISO standard X3D, Octaga will make the X3D plug-in (based on Octaga Player) freely available for personal use and costs 30 Euro’s for professional use. It will support key X3D profiles and components including the Core, Immersive, Interactive, Interchange and MPEG-4 Interactive profiles.
