[x3d-public] X3DCanvas vs x3d-canvas, X_ITE

I saw an X3DJSONLD web console log, stating:

Use of <X3DCanvas> element is deprecated, please use <x3d-canvas> element
instead.

This misuse of tag is due to a new version of X_ITE.  X3DJSONLD references
the latest x_ite.

Is this a development version report, or production release of X_ITE?
