The most effective ways to share X3D models is via the Web, including any other channel (such as email).

The most effective way to carefully and collaboratively author X3D models is via version control. The NPS team uses both subversion and git to good effect.

Evidence of deliberate collaboration success: we now have 3950+ X3D models actively maintained, converted, and validated in Web3D Consortium open source.

Subject: [x3d-public] X3D-Edit—pair programming—2+ desktops.

What’s the last version of X3D-Edit to have sync’ed, multi-user .x3d editing? Are the systems supporting that still up and running?

Thanks!

John
