thanks very much for the reminder John, I will look again at your work
and link it into the resources pages.  if you have any comments or
improvements about the X3dToX3dom.xslt output patterns, please advise.

I will ask Len about the compressed xhtml settings and also match them on our savage.nps.edu server

TODO:  strip out default attribute values (which are carried into source file when stylesheet is serializing DOM)
