Michalis and Dirk, thanks very much for the detailed responses.
Very helpful and much appreciated!

It looks like there are no problems with the existing specification,
we will just review how it is referenced in the final-draft Volume
rendering component during today's 08-0900 pacific teleconference
and during SIGGRAPH discussions. The X3D v3.3 editors' review meeting
with ISO is 21-26 August in Rapid City South Dakota USA.

all the best, Don
