This software robot demo using the open source Seamless3d shows all the steps to import a static model and convert it into a dynamic single skin mesh animated model. Once the build nodes have been set up they can be re-used to import any static model that has the same basic shape.  Seamless3d v2.117 makes animation simpler. Interpolator nodes and active script instructions are now added on the fly when ever the user poses a part while the control panel for animation is open. Because Seamless3d can run scripts live, animation sequences can be created in a matter of seconds. The imported example file made by the demo can be exported from Seamless3d to a wide range of options including H-Anim nodes encoded in XML, X3D, VRML classic or VRML97.
