Starbase C3, a long running online entertainment site has re-released it’s 50 page multimedia E-Book for free. To promote the book Cube Productions created a full screen, broadcast level, interactive X3D teaser ad on the StarbaseC3 website. The X3D-based 3D “Control Room” scenario lets you download the E-book directly from within the 3D scene using the Flux browser from Media Machines. Flux allows for the direct linking of URLs to html pages and other online web documents like PDF’s from within the X3D worlds it publishes.
