Open Geospatial Consortium and Web3D Consortium to work together on standards-based interoperable 3D Dec 19, 2006
The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) and the Web3D Consortium announced they will work together to cooperatively advance standards to support location-enabled 3D web services for urban planning; architecture, engineering and construction; climate prediction, homeland security, emergency management, defense and intelligence, and other capabilities.
