San Francisco, CA - February 27, 2007 - Media Machines, Inc., a leading provider of 3D virtual worlds software and services for the Web, today announced the final release of their new software tools, Flux Player 2.0 and Flux Studio 2.0. Flux Player 2.0 is an award-winning and now! open source Web browser plugin (1.5MB) for viewing and playing real-time 3D content and virtual worlds in Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers. Flux Player 2.0 works with Windows XP and Vista and now supports streaming audio and video, including mp3, mpg, wmv, and avi files. Flux Player 2.0 now also supports 2D Layers, allowing for the creation of graphic overlays such as heads-up displays (HUDs) widely used in game and virtual world user interfaces. Flux Studio 2.0 is a 3D authoring application for creating virtual content, worlds, games and gadgets.
